In Class 3 we have been looking at the life and works of Leonardo Da Vinci. We have learned lots of amazing things about him. Did you know that one of his favourite colours was pink? That he had the idea for the bicycle 300 years before anyone else? And that it took him ten years just to paint the lips of the Mona Lisa?!?!

In class 3 we have been discussing how to use adjectives to describe a noun. Using adjectives makes our writing more interesting for the reader. We tried describing some objects that are in our classroom. Here are some of them!

In class 3's literacy lesson we listened to the story of Weyland and his swan bride. The story is set in the Anglo-Saxon era and follows the main character Weyland who is a hunter.

After we listened to the story we discussed the characters and events before splitting into groups to begin acting out parts of the story and showing the rest of the class.
